This essential initial consultation provides a better understanding of your expectations and determines the most appropriate treatment for your conditions (injections, peels, mesotherapy, laser, cryolipolysis). Listening to you, the doctor develops a personalised treatment plan with you (the most suitable procedure and the number of sessions required). Aesthetic medicine procedures for dark circles or wrinkles also prove very effective.

Before the treatment day
At the end of this first appointment, Dr Valeria Romano explains all precautions to take before the procedure, depending on the chosen technique. Before a medium peel, for example, the doctor may recommend applying an anaesthetic cream beforehand. However, exfoliation or waxing is prohibited during the week before a peel.
Whatever the planned procedure, the medical team explains its nature, specific features and standard precautions in detail.
The treatment session
Following the initial consultation, if you have decided to proceed, you can book the procedure directly. Of course, you may take time to reflect before arranging an appointment. On the day of treatment, we recommend arriving a little early. Our medical team takes time to welcome and reassure you by answering all your questions. After spending time in the waiting room, you are settled in the treatment room.
Dr Valeria Romano then clearly explains the session's stages: thorough disinfection of the treatment area, performance of the medical procedure, and so on. The stages vary according to the procedure and its specific features.
After the procedure: rare and limited side effects
The doctor will explain all precautions to take, for example: taking homoeopathic remedies, avoiding alcohol or refraining from strenuous exercise.
Aesthetic medicine techniques involve no incisions (unlike surgery) and remain minimally invasive. Furthermore, the products used are generally very well tolerated by the body, such as hyaluronic acid, which is naturally present in the body.
