The 7/9 Point Shape ® technique is a variation of the MD Codes® used to enhance, sculpt, feminize or masculinize the face.
It involves a combination of 7 injection points in women and 9 in men to reshape the face by lifting sagging tissues, defining the jawline, and redesigning and projecting facial features.
The 7/9 Point Shape ® is a revolutionary technique that can be performed at any age. Younger patients wish to reshape the face, feminize or masculinize it, and achieve sharper contours. Older patients want to address age-related sagging, and redefine contours and volume.

The doctor must be trained in this technique.
Despite the schematic and reproducible nature of the injection protocol, personal skill, an artistic eye and technical mastery make all the difference between doctors.<brW
This facial reshaping technique is inspired by makeup contouring, which uses light and shadow to highlight certain features and minimize others.
Hyaluronic acid injections are performed using a needle or a cannula. Injection depths, products and volumes must be adapted to the morphology of each face to bring out its natural beauty.
There are 7 points injected in women and 9 in men – the two additional points are used to masculinize the chin.

The result is immediate but continues to improve over two weeks.
Downtime is minimal. Bruising is rare and mild. There is no social downtime.
The injection session lasts about 30 minutes.
A second session may be recommended three weeks later.
The result lasts one year.
The cost of a 7/9 Points Shape treatment depends primarily on the amount of product injected and the techniques chosen to suit the patient’s facial structure. The approach is always personalized, and the treatment plan varies depending on whether the goal is subtle volume restoration or more structural work across the entire face.
Hyaluronic acid is the key product in this protocol, with the price per syringe set at 600 CHF. For certain specific indications, especially technically complex treatments, the price may range from 650 to 750 CHF per syringe. The total number of syringes is determined after medical assessment.
Other products may be integrated into the protocol, such as Sculptra, priced at 900 CHF per vial. In some cases, Skinbooster injections are added to improve skin quality : the cost is 400 CHF per syringe. Two syringes are often recommended.
The treatment may also include botulinum toxin injections in the upper third of the face. For women, the cost is 300 CHF for one area, 450 CHF for two areas, and 600 CHF for three areas. For men, the rates are adjusted to 350, 500, and 650 CHF depending on the number of areas treated, with doses tailored to generally stronger muscles.
A prior medical evaluation is essential to define treatment priorities and establish a comprehensive quote in line with the aesthetic indication.
Hyaluronic acid injections are generally not very painful. A numbing cream can be applied beforehand. Moreover, most fillers contain lidocaine, a local anesthetic that enhances comfort during the procedure. Patients usually feel slight pressure or tingling.
The results of hyaluronic acid injections are immediate. The face appears more balanced, volume is restored, and contours are more defined right after the session. However, the optimal result is visible after a few days, once the product has fully settled and any swelling has subsided. Results typically last between 12 and 18 months, depending on the area treated and the individual’s metabolism.
To ensure safe and natural results, it is essential to consult a doctor trained in aesthetic medicine or an experienced dermatologist. Make sure the practitioner :
• Is trained in aesthetic medicine.
• Uses high-quality, certified, and safe products.
• Provides a personalized assessment before treatment.
• Explains a clear treatment plan, expected outcomes, and possible side effects.
Yes, hyaluronic acid injections are suitable for all skin types, whether fair, medium, or dark. They are appropriate for both young and mature skin. However, a prior evaluation with the doctor is necessary to tailor the technique to individual skin characteristics and avoid unwanted reactions.
